MULTI-MODE MANUAL TRANSAXLE SYSTEM Engine does not Start

DESCRIPTION

If any malfunctions are suspected in the transaxle control system after reassembling or repairing transaxle system components, perform troubleshooting in accordance with the following chart.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

    3. Turn the tester on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Multi-Mode M/T / DTC.

    5. Read the DTCs using the tester.

  2. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (LEARN-CLUTCH STOP POINT)


    1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Multi-Mode M/T / Data List / Learn-Clutch Stop Point.

    2. In accordance with the display on the tester, read the Data List.

  3. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (LEARNING-T/M)


    1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Multi-Mode M/T / Data List / Learning-T/M.

    2. In accordance with the display on the tester, read the Data List.

  4. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (GEAR POSITION (CURRENT))


    1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Multi-Mode M/T / Data List / Gear Position (Current).

    2. Move the shift lever to N (neutral).

    3. In accordance with the display on the tester, read the Data List.
