SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FLOOR SHIFT SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the floor shift shift lever assembly to the vehicle body with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

      *2 Shift Lever Retainer
      *3 Clip A
      *4 Transmission Control Select Cable
      *5 Clip B
      *6 Transmission Control Shift Cable

      Engage the 2 claws to install the 2 outer cables to the shift lever retainer.

    3. Engage the clip B to connect the transmission control shift cable to the floor shift shift lever assembly.

    4. Connect the transmission control select cable to the floor shift shift lever assembly with the clip A.

      Note

      Connect the transmission control select cable so that the adjusting mechanism lock of the transmission control select cable is installed on the left side of the vehicle.

    5. Engage the 2 wire harness clamps to install the wire harness to the floor shift shift lever assembly.
