BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE BATTERY

  4. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

  5. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER (for LHD)

  6. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER (for RHD)

    Click here

  7. SUPPORT MANUAL TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY

      Support the manual transaxle with a jack and a wooden block.

  8. REMOVE ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR LH

  10. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the back-up light switch connector.

      Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

    3. A01VKATE01

      Using SST, remove the back-up light switch and gasket from the manual transaxle assembly.
