TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE(for TMMF Made) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the transmission control cable assembly with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

    2. Install the 2 cables to the control cable bracket with 2 new clips.

    3. Connect the 2 cables to the manual transaxle assembly with the 2 clips.

      Securely push the control cable into the grooved part of the shift lever with the protrusion of the control cable facing upward.

    5. Connect the control select cable to the shift lever with the clip.

      Note


      • Connect the control select cable so that the adjusting mechanism lock of the control select cable is installed on the left side of the vehicle.

      • Do not apply excessive load to the shift lever.

    6. Connect the control shift cable to the shift lever.

  2. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR


    1. Install the front No. 2 floor heat insulator with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE

  6. INSTALL BATTERY CARRIER

  7. INSTALL BATTERY TRAY

  9. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK
