TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE(for TMMF Made) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE BATTERY

  4. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

    Click here

  5. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER (for LHD)

    Click here

  6. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER (for RHD)

    Click here

  7. DISCONNECT NO. 2 HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR

    Click here

  8. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. REMOVE NO.2 FRONT FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

    Click here

  10. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  11. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

      *1 Control Shift Cable

      Disconnect the control shift cable from the shift lever.

      Tech Tips

      Push the cable end at an angle and remove it.

      *1 Control Select Cable

      Remove the clip and disconnect the control select cable from the shift lever.

      Pinch the protrusion of the transmission control cable assembly and pull the cable upward.

      Remove the 2 A clips and separate the 2 cables from the control cable bracket.

    5. Remove the 2 B clips and disconnect the 2 cables from the manual transaxle assembly.

      Remove the 4 nuts and the transmission control cable assembly.
