CLUTCH PEDAL(for LHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

  3. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (w/o Knee Airbag)

  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Knee Airbag)

  5. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connectors and disengage the wire harness clamps.

      Push the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis upward and release it toward the left side of the vehicle.

    3. A01VJXC

      Remove the bolt, the 2 nuts and the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VDST

      Remove the nut and the clutch start switch assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VHYM

      Loosen the lock nut and remove the No. 2 clutch start switch assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING (except 1ND-TV)

      Remove the clutch pedal spring.

  10. REMOVE PEDAL SPRING (for 1ND-TV)

      While the clutch pedal is fully depressed, remove the pedal spring.

  11. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SPRING HOLDER (for 1ND-TV)

      Remove the clutch pedal spring holder from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01VLN0

      Remove the bolt, the nut and the clutch pedal sub-assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

      Note

      Turn the nut while holding the bolt.

  13. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL SHAFT COLLAR


    1. A01VENY

      Remove the 2 clutch pedal bushes and the clutch pedal shaft collar from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 CLUTCH PEDAL CUSHION

      Remove the No. 1 clutch pedal cushion from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

  15. REMOVE CLUTCH PEDAL PAD


    1. Remove the clutch pedal pad from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.
