PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT OIL PUMP WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Check operation.

        Component without harness connected

        (Oil Pump with Motor Assembly)

        Apply battery voltage to the oil pump with motor assembly and check that it makes an operating sound.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 1 (+B)

        Battery negative (-) → 2 (SI)

        Battery negative (-) → 4 (GND)

        		 Operating sound can be heard

        If the result is not as specified, replace the oil pump with motor assembly.

        Note

        Do not operate the oil pump with motor assembly more than necessary.

        Tech Tips

        Inspect the oil pump with motor assembly with it installed to the continuously variable transaxle assembly.
