  1. INSPECT WARNING CANCELING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Stop and Start system Cancel Switch Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      6 (ECU) - 3 (E) Pushed Below 1 Ω
      6 (ECU) - 3 (E) Not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the warning canceling switch assembly.

      Component without harness connected

      (Stop and Start system Cancel Switch Assembly)

      Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the switch, and check the illumination condition of the stop and start cancel switch assembly.


      1. OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) - Terminal 5 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) - Terminal 4 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        Tech Tips

        If the result is not as specified, replace the warning canceling switch assembly.
