ENGINE STOP AND START ECU REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. READ NUMBER OF STARTER OPERATIONS

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after cable is reconnected Click here.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL (for LHD)

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    Click here

  6. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    Click here

  7. REMOVE ENGINE STOP AND START ECU


    1. A01VIJC

      Disconnect the 3 engine stop and start ECU connectors.

    2. A01VGWG

      Remove the 2 nuts and engine stop and start ECU from the junction block bracket.
