DESCRIPTION

DTC C1A52 is output when a communication malfunction occurs between the ECM and driving support ECU assembly.

C1A52 While vehicle is being driven at speed of approximately 40 km/h (25 mph) or more and cruise control main switch is on, ECM does not recognize driving support ECU assembly or ECM rejects cruise control request from driving support ECU assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Make sure the following conditions are met:

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect malfunctions.


      • The vehicle is being driven at a speed of approximately 50 km/h (31 mph) or more and the cruise control main switch is on.

    3. Check for DTCs Click here.

  2. REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY


    1. for LHD:


      1. Replace the driving support ECU assembly with a new one Click here.
