If the following conditions are detected while cruise control is in operation, the system clears the stored vehicle speed in the ECM and cancels cruise control.
There is a problem with the throttle body with motor assembly

Under either of the following conditions, cruise control operation is canceled but the stored vehicle speed is maintained:

Push the cruise control main switch to +RES |
| Under the following condition, cruise control operation is canceled and the stored vehicle speed is not maintained:

Push the cruise control main switch to -SET | |
| Cruise control indicator light goes off | There is a problem with the throttle body with motor assembly | Turn the cruise control main switch on again |
