CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM(for Gasoline) Clutch Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

While depressing the clutch pedal, the clutch switch sends a signal to terminal 81 (D) of the ECM. The ECM cancels cruise control when terminal 81 (D) receives the signal.

  1. INSPECT NO. 2 CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect the No. 2 clutch start switch assembly.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 CLUTCH START SWITCH ASSEMBLY - ECM AND BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the A82*1 or A41*2 No. 2 clutch start switch assembly connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    2. Disconnect the B22*1 or B23*2 ECM connector.


      • *1: for LHD

      • *2: for RHD

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      for LHD

      A82-1 - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      for RHD

      A41-1 - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
