IGNITION SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made)

   CAUTION:

   
   

   • Perform the operation after situating the upper steering column bracket assembly in such a way that the ignition or starter switch assembly faces upward, as shown in the illustration.

   • Do not turn the upper steering column bracket assembly sideways or downward because doing so might release the upper steering column bracket assembly's component parts.

   1. Engage the 2 claws and install the ignition or starter switch assembly.

   2. Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY (for TMC Made LHD)

4. INSTALL IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for TMMF Made)

   
   

   1. Engage the 2 claws and install the ignition or starter switch assembly.

   2. Connect the connector.

5. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (for TMMF Made)

   
   

   1. Install the screw indicated in the illustration.

   2. Turn the steering wheel to the left and install the screw indicated in the illustration.

   3. Turn the steering wheel to the right, and install the screw indicated in the illustration.
