Note
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Click here.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.
REMOVE BATTERY
REMOVE BATTERY TRAY
REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER
REMOVE FLYWHEEL HOUSING SIDE COVER
Disengage the claw while pulling it upward and remove the flywheel housing side cover from the cylinder block sub-assembly.
REMOVE BATTERY
Open the terminal cap.
Disconnect the terminal 50 connector.
Remove the nut to disconnect the wire harness from the terminal 30.
Disengage the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness from the 2 wire harness clamp brackets.
Remove the 2 bolts and starter assembly from the cylinder block sub-assembly and oil pan sub-assembly.
Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket from the starter assembly.
