STARTER(except Cold Area) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with works Click here.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

  3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

  4. REMOVE BATTERY

  5. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE FLYWHEEL HOUSING SIDE COVER

    1. Disengage the claw while pushing it downward and remove the flywheel housing side cover.

  7. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY

      Separate the harness clamp.

    2. A01VJNV

      Remove the terminal cap.

    3. Remove the nut and disconnect terminal 30.

    4. Disconnect the connector.

    5. A01VKW1

      Remove the 2 bolts and the starter assembly.

    6. A01VFH8

      Remove the bolt and the wire harness bracket.
