PROCEDURE

    PRECAUTION

    Note:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Click here).

  2. Click here

    DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).

  3. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  4. Click here

    REMOVE GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER

      Remove the 2 screws and 3 clips.

      Pull back the front fender liner LH.

      Disconnect the 4 glow plug controller connectors.

    4. Disconnect the cooling fan resistor connector.

    5. B0046HN

      Remove the 2 bolts and glow plug controller together with No. 1 glow plug controller bracket and cooling fan resistor from the vehicle.

      Note:

      If a component has been dropped or subject to a strong impact, replace the glow plug controller and cooling fan resister.

  5. Click here

    REMOVE COOLING FAN RESISTOR

      Remove the 2 bolts and cooling fan resistor from the No. 1 glow plug controller bracket.

  6. Click here

    REMOVE NO. 1 GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER BRACKET


    1. B0045JH

      Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 glow plug controller bracket from the glow plug controller.
