GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL NO. 1 GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER BRACKET

   
   

   1. Install the No. 1 glow plug controller bracket to the glow plug controller with the 2 screws.

      Torque:

      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

2. INSTALL COOLING FAN RESISTOR

   
   

   1. Install the cooling fan resistor to the No. 1 glow plug controller bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      13 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

3. INSTALL GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER

   
   

   1. Install the glow plug controller together with No. 1 glow plug controller bracket and cooling fan resistor to the vehicle with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      13 N*m  { 127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subject to a strong impact, replace the glow plug controller and cooling fan resister.

   2. Connect the cooling fan resistor connector.

   3. Connect the 4 glow plug controller connectors.

   4. Return the front fender liner LH.

   5. Install the 2 screws and 3 clips to secure the front fender liner LH.

4. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

   Torque:

   103 N*m  { 1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf }

5. CONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected ( Click here).
