ENGINE OIL COOLER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY


    1. Check and clean the oil cooler assembly installation surface.

    2. Install 2 new oil cooler O-rings and a new oil cooler gasket to the oil filter bracket sub-assembly.

    3. Install the oil cooler assembly to the oil filter bracket sub-assembly with the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and 2 plate washers.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  2. CONNECT OIL COOLER HOSE

      Connect the oil cooler hose to the oil cooler assembly and slide the hose clip to secure it.

      Note

      Perform the installation with the hose clip at the correct angle.

  3. INSTALL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY (w/ Air Conditioning System)

  4. ADD ENGINE OIL

  5. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL

  6. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

  7. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

  8. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK

  9. INSTALL CENTER ENGINE UNDER COVER
