OIL PRESSURE SWITCHING VALVE(w/ DPF) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT OIL PRESSURE SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 13 to 17 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the oil pressure switching valve.

      (Oil Pressure Switching Valve Assembly)

      Connect the positive (+) lead of the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2 and check that the sound of oil pressure switching valve can be heard.

      Note


      • These tests must be performed within 10 seconds to prevent the coil from burning out.

      • Always turn the voltage on and off on the battery side, not the oil pressure switching valve side

      If the result is not as specified, replace the oil pressure switching valve.
