REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
DRAIN COOLANT (for Intercooler)
REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH
REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH
Tech Tips
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
DISCONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE SUB-RADIATOR
REMOVE FRONT AIRBAG SENSOR
REMOVE SUB-RADIATOR BRACKET
Remove the 3 nuts and sub-radiator bracket from the front bumper reinforcement.
DISCONNECT RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK HOSE
Disconnect the radiator reservoir tank hose from the radiator assembly.
DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
Slide the hose clip and disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.
DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
Slide the hose clip and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.
REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FRONT RADIATOR SIDE AIR GUIDE PLATE RH
REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the horn connector.
Disengage the 3 clamps and disconnect the wire harness from the upper radiator support sub-assembly.
Disengage the 2 clamps to separate the hood lock control cable assembly from the upper radiator support sub-assembly.
Remove the 4 bolts and upper radiator support sub-assembly from the vehicle.
DISCONNECT COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
Disengage the 2 claws.
Disengage the 2 guides and separate the cooler condenser assembly from the radiator assembly.
Note
Do not damage the radiator assembly and cooler condenser assembly, when removing the cooler condenser assembly.
REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector.
Disengage the clamp to separate the wire harness from the fan shroud.
Remove the radiator assembly together with fan shroud from the vehicle.
Note
Do not apply excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly or piping when removing the radiator assembly.
Do not damage the radiator assembly and cooler condenser assembly, when removing the radiator assembly.
Disengage the 3 claws.
Disengage the 3 guides and remove the fan shroud from the radiator assembly.
Note
Do not damage the radiator assembly, when removing the fan shroud.
REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION
Remove the 2 radiator support cushions from the radiator assembly.
REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT
Remove the 2 lower radiator supports from the radiator assembly.
REMOVE RADIATOR DRAIN COCK PLUG
Remove the radiator drain cock plug from the radiator assembly.
Remove the O-ring from the radiator drain cock plug.
