COOLING FAN MOTOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. DISCONNECT RADIATOR RESERVE TANK HOSE

      Disconnect the radiator reserve tank hose from the radiator assembly.

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE

  7. REMOVE FAN WITH MOTOR


    1. A004AU1

      Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp to separate the wire harness from the fan shroud.

    3. A004AA7

      Disengage the 3 claws.

    4. Disengage the 3 guides and remove the fan with motor from the radiator assembly.

      Note

      Do not damage the radiator assembly, when removing the fan with motor.

  8. REMOVE FAN

      Remove the nut and fan from the cooling fan motor.

  9. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR

      Remove the 3 screws and cooling fan motor from the fan shroud.
