WATER PUMP INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY


    1. Install a new water pump gasket to the engine water pump assembly.

    2. A0048LNN01

      Install the engine water pump assembly to the timing chain cover assembly with the 8 bolts.

      Torque:
      Bolt (A)
      60.3 N*m  { 615 kgf*cm, 44 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt (B)
      24 N*m  { 245 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt (C)
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not apply oil to the bolt (A).

      Bolt (A) 50 mm (1.97 in.)
      Bolt (B) 40 mm (1.57 in.)
      Bolt (C) 20 mm (0.787 in.)

  2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly to the timing chain cover assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY


  4. ADD ENGINE COOLANT

  5. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK
