THERMOSTAT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

   INSTALL THERMOSTAT

   
   

   1. Install a new gasket onto the thermostat.

   2. 

      Install the thermostat into the water inlet with the jiggle pin facing straight upward.

      *a	Upper Indication
      *b	Jiggle Pin

2. Click here

   INSTALL WATER INLET

   
   

   1. Install the water inlet with the 2 bolts.

      7.0 N*m

      71 kgf*cm

      62 in.*lbf

      Note:
      

      • Avoid catching the rubber gasket of the thermostat under the water inlet.

      
      

      • Do not use a water inlet that has been dropped.

      
      

      • Ensure that the gasket is secured between the water inlet and block.

   CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

4. Click here

   ADD ENGINE COOLANT

   Click here

5. Click here

   INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK
