PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

   Click here

2. Click here

   DRAIN COOLANT (for Intercooler)

   Click here

3. Click here

   REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

   Click here

4. Click here

   REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

   Click here

5. Click here

   REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR ASSEMBLY

   Click here

6. Click here

   DISCONNECT NO. 4 SUB-RADIATOR HOSE

   
   
   1. 

      Slide the hose clip and disconnect the No. 4 sub-radiator hose from the supercharger assembly.

7. Click here

   DISCONNECT NO. 7 SUB-RADIATOR HOSE

   
   
   1. 

      Slide the hose clip and disconnect the No. 7 sub-radiator hose from the supercharger assembly.

8. Click here

   REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

   Click here

9. Click here

   REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY

   Click here

10. Click here

    REMOVE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK SUB-ASSEMBLY

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the oil level dipstick sub-assembly from the oil level dipstick guide sub-assembly.

11. Click here

    REMOVE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the clamp to disconnect the wire harness from the oil level dipstick guide sub-assembly.

    2. 

       Disengage the clamp to disconnect the No. 9 intercooler cooling water hose from the oil level dipstick guide sub-assembly.

    3. 

       Remove the bolt and oil level dipstick guide sub-assembly from the supercharger assembly and oil pan sub-assembly.

    REMOVE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE O-RING

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the oil level dipstick guide O-ring from the oil level dipstick guide sub-assembly.

13. Click here

    REMOVE VACUUM SENSOR (MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR)

    REMOVE SUPERCHARGER ASSEMBLY

    Note:

    Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly, when removing the supercharger assembly.

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the clamp to disconnect the engine wire from the wire harness clamp bracket.

    2. 

       Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket from the supercharger assembly.

    3. 

       Slide the hose clip and disconnect the No. 1 vacuum transmitting hose from the supercharger assembly.

    4. 

       Disconnect the fuel vapor feed hose from the supercharger assembly.

    5. 

       Slide the hose clip and disconnect the ventilation hose from the supercharger assembly.

    6. 

       Remove the nut.

    7. Loosen the bolt.

       Tip:

       Loosen the bolt to a position where the supercharger assembly can be removed.

    8. 

       *1	Plate Washer

       Using SST (supercharger set bolt wrench), SST (extension wrench 13) and SST (extension semideep socket 13), remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts, plate washer and supercharger assembly from the cylinder head sub-assembly and supercharger bracket.

    9. Remove the intake manifold gasket from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

    10. 

        Remove the 2 bolts and supercharger bracket from the cylinder block sub-assembly.
