PURGE VALVE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV)


    1. B0047L3

      Disconnect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp to separate the engine wire from the purge valve (purge VSV).

    3. Slide the clip and disconnect the fuel vapor feed hose assembly from the purge valve (purge VSV).

      Note

      When disconnecting the hose, hold down the purge valve (purge VSV) by hand while carefully disconnecting the hose.

    4. Disconnect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose from the purge valve (purge VSV).

      Note

      When disconnecting the hose, hold down the purge valve (purge VSV) by hand while carefully disconnecting the hose.

    5. Remove the screw and purge valve (purge VSV).
