  1. INSPECT EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY

    Component without harness connected

    (EGR Valve Assembly)

    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (EGR4) - 2 (+B1) 20°C (68°F) 18 to 22 Ω
      2 (+B1) - 3 (EGR2) 20°C (68°F) 18 to 22 Ω
      4 (EGR1) - 5 (+B2) 20°C (68°F) 18 to 22 Ω
      5 (+B2) - 6 (EGR3) 20°C (68°F) 18 to 22 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the EGR valve assembly.
