EGR VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the 2 stud bolts to the EGR valve assembly.

      Torque:

      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

   2. Install a new EGR valve gasket to the cylinder head sub-assembly.

   3. Install the EGR valve assembly with the 2 nuts and bolt.

      Torque:

      28 N*m  { 285 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

   4. Connect the water hose and connector to the EGR valve assembly.
