EGR VALVE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD

  2. REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the EGR valve assembly connector.

    2. A01VLFK

      Slide the hose clip and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose from the EGR valve assembly.

    3. A01VDZ0

      Disengage the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness from the wire harness clamp bracket.

    4. A01VK3H

      Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

    5. A01VHNZ

      Rotate the EGR valve assembly to avoid the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly and cylinder head cover sub-assembly, and remove the EGR valve assembly from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE EGR VALVE GASKET


    1. A01VGNR

      Remove the EGR valve gasket from the cylinder head sub-assembly.
