FUEL PUMP ECU REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE COOLING FAN RESISTOR

  2. REMOVE FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU

      *a Lock Lever

      Release the lock lever to disconnect the fuel pump control ECU connector as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the clamp to separate the wire harness from the fuel pump control ECU bracket.

    3. A0049HG

      Remove the 2 bolts and fuel pump control ECU with fuel pump control ECU brackets from the front side member reinforcement sub-assembly.

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace the fuel pump control ECU.

      Remove the 4 screws and 2 fuel pump control ECU brackets from the fuel pump control ECU.
