FUEL PUMP REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP

    If the fuel pump has been replaced, conduct Inspection After Repairs.

      While holding the fuel pump filter by the plastic resin part, install the fuel pump to the fuel pump filter.

      Note

      Be careful not to let foreign matter enter the fuel pump or fuel pump filter.

      *1 O-ring
      *2 Fuel Pump Spacer

      Apply gasoline to a new O-ring and then install the fuel pump spacer and O-ring to the fuel pump.

      Note

      Make sure the O-ring is not damaged and has no foreign matter stuck to it.

  2. INSTALL FUEL PUMP FILTER


    1. A0049R5

      Engage the 3 claws to install the fuel pump and fuel pump filter to the No. 1 fuel suction support.

      Note

      Do not push the filter part of the fuel pump filter.

  3. INSTALL FUEL PUMP HARNESS

      Connect the 2 connectors and install the fuel pump harness.
