FUEL PUMP REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT


    1. A01VE4V

      Install a new O-ring to the No. 1 fuel suction support.

    2. A01VM4T

      Engage the 2 claws of the No. 1 fuel suction support guide and the 3 claws of the No. 1 fuel suction support, and install the No. 1 fuel suction support.

  2. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY

      Coat a new O-ring with gasoline and install it to the fuel pressure regulator assembly.

    2. Install the fuel pressure regulator assembly to the No. 1 fuel suction support.

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 FUEL SUCTION SUPPORT

      Align the 3 claws and the clamp, and install the No. 2 fuel suction support.

  4. INSTALL FUEL PUMP

      Holding the fuel pump filter by the plastic resin part, install the fuel pump.

      Note

      Be careful not to let foreign matter enter the fuel pump or the fuel pump filter.

      *1 O-ring
      *2 Fuel Pump Spacer

      Apply gasoline to a new O-ring, and then install the fuel pump spacer and new O-ring onto the fuel pump.

      Note

      Make sure the O-ring is not damaged and has no foreign matter stuck to it.

    3. A01VFR1

      Align the three claws and install the fuel pump filter to the No. 1 fuel suction support.

      Note

      Do not push the filter part of the fuel filter.

  5. INSTALL FUEL PUMP HARNESS

      Connect the 2 connectors and install the fuel pump harness.
