FUEL SEDIMENTER WARNING SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FUEL SEDIMENTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Apply fuel to the O-ring of the fuel filter.

    2. Install the fuel filter onto the fuel filter cover.

    3. Install a new O-ring onto the fuel filter cover.

    4. Apply fuel to the O-ring of the fuel filter cover.

      Mount the fuel sedimenter element sub-assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

    6. Using SST, tighten until the stopper of the fuel sedimenter element sub-assembly contacts with the stopper of the fuel cover.

      Note

      Do not overtighten. Overtightening may damage the stoppers.

    7. Engage the 2 wire harness clamps and install the fuel sedimenter wire harness.
