FUEL SEDIMENTER WARNING SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FUEL TANK FUEL FILTER

  2. REMOVE FUEL SEDIMENTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the wire harness clamps and separate the fuel sedimenter wire harness.

    2. A01VLSQE01

      Mount the fuel filter assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

    3. Using SST, remove the fuel sedimenter element sub-assembly.

      Note


      • Because the fuel filter assembly is made of plastic resin, be careful not to overtighten the vise.

      • Do not hold or clamp the fuel port section with the vise.

    4. Remove the fuel filter from the fuel filter cover.
