PROCEDURE
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE BATTERY
REMOVE BATTERY TRAY
REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER (for LHD)
REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER (for RHD)
REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER
REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE
REMOVE NO. 1 GLOW PLUG CONNECTOR
REMOVE NO. 1 VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NOZZLE LEAKAGE PIPE ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 1 INJECTION PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 2 INJECTION PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 3 INJECTION PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE FUEL INLET PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
DISCONNECT NO. 1 FUEL HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Slide the 2 hose clips and disconnect the No. 1 fuel hose sub-assembly from the No. 2 nozzle leakage pipe and No. 3 nozzle leakage pipe.
REMOVE NO. 2 NOZZLE LEAKAGE PIPE
Slide the hose clip and disconnect the No. 1 fuel hose from the No. 4 nozzle leakage pipe.
Disconnect the injection or supply pump assembly connector.
Disengage the clamp to disconnect the wire harness from the wiring harness clamp bracket.
Remove the bolt and wiring harness clamp bracket from the injection or supply pump assembly.
Slide the hose clip and disconnect the No. 2 fuel hose from the No. 2 nozzle leakage pipe.
Disconnect the fuel temperature sensor connector.
Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 nozzle leakage pipe from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly and injection or supply pump assembly.
REMOVE FUEL PUMP PROTECTOR
Remove the 2 bolts and fuel pump protector from the injection or supply pump assembly.
Note
When the fuel pump protector fastening bolt has been loosened, tighten the injection or supply pump assembly fastening bolt to the specified torque Click here.
REMOVE INJECTION OR SUPPLY PUMP ASSEMBLY
Remove the 3 bolts and injection or supply pump assembly from the cylinder head sub-assembly.
Remove the supply pump drive coupling from the camshaft or injection or supply pump assembly.
REMOVE NO. 4 NOZZLE LEAKAGE PIPE

Remove the union bolt, No. 4 nozzle leakage pipe and gasket from the injection or supply pump assembly.
REMOVE NO. 3 NOZZLE LEAKAGE PIPE

Remove the union bolt, No. 3 nozzle leakage pipe and gasket from the injection or supply pump assembly.
