DRIVE BELT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT


    1. B0045SPC04
      *1 Crankshaft Pulley
      *2 Generator with Regulator Pulley
      *3 Engine Water Pump Pulley
      *4 Cooler Compressor Pulley
      *5 Engine Water Pump Pulley

      Temporarily install the fan and generator V belt to each pulley.

    2. B0045W4E01

      Turn the bolt (C) to adjust the tension of the fan and generator V belt.

    3. Tighten the bolts (A) and (B).

      Torque:
      Bolt (A)
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt (B)
      45 N*m  { 459 kgf*cm, 33 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSPECT FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

  3. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH


    1. Install the engine under cover RH with the 2 bolts and 3 screws.

      Torque:
      Bolt
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }
