DRIVE BELT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH


    1. Remove the 2 bolts, 3 screws and engine under cover RH from the vehicle.

  2. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT


    1. A0049ZHC02
      *a 5 mm Hexagon Wrench
      *b Turn

      Release the fan and generator V belt tension by turning the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly counterclockwise, and remove the fan and generator V belt from each pulley.

    2. While turning the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly counterclockwise, align the holes, and then insert a 5 mm hexagon wrench to the holes to secure the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly.
