DRIVE BELT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

    1. Disengage the 3 clamps and remove the No. 1 engine cover.

  2. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

    A01VKQ4

    1. Remove the bolt and the inlet No. 1 air cleaner.

  3. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

      *1 5 mm hexagon wrench
      *a Counterclockwise

      Release the fan and generator V belt tension by turning the V-ribbed belt tensioner counterclockwise, and remove the fan and generator V belt from the V-ribbed belt tensioner.

    2. While turning the V-ribbed belt tensioner counterclockwise, align the holes, and then insert a 5 mm hexagon wrench into the holes to secure the V-ribbed belt tensioner.
