REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR PLATE (w/o DPF)

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR PLATE (w/ DPF)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE ENGINE REAR OIL SEAL


    1. Using a knife, cut off the oil seal lip.

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, remove the engine rear oil seal.

      Note

      After the removal, check the crankshaft for damage. If it is damaged, smooth the surface with 400-grit sandpaper.
