CYLINDER BLOCK REPLACEMENT

PROCEDURE


  1. REPLACE RING PIN

    Note

    It is not necessary to remove the ring pins unless they are being replaced.

      *a Upper Side

      Remove the 2 ring pins.

    2. Using a plastic hammer, tap in the 2 ring pins.

      Protrusion Height
      6.0 to 7.0 mm (0.236 to 0.276 in.)

  2. REPLACE STRAIGHT PIN

    Note

    It is not necessary to remove the straight pins unless they are being replaced.


    1. Remove the 6 straight pins.

    2. Using a plastic hammer, tap in the 6 straight pins.

      Protrusion Height
      Item Protrusion
      A 7.0 to 8.0 mm (0.276 to 0.315 in.)
      B 8.0 to 9.0 mm (0.315 to 0.354 in.)

  3. REPLACE STUD BOLT

    A01VIA8

    Note

    If any of the stud bolts is deformed or the threads are damaged, replace it.


    1. Remove the stud bolts.

    2. Install the stud bolts.
