PROCEDURE
REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION UPPER CENTER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY
Disconnect the 4 ignition coil assembly connectors.
Remove the 4 bolts and 4 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
Note
If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace the ignition coil assembly.
REMOVE SPARK PLUG
Tech Tips
Due to interference with the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly, the spark plug wrench, 100 mm extension bar and 75 mm extension bar cannot be inserted into the plug hole while they are assembled together, so use the following procedure to set the tools on the spark plug.

Set the tools on the spark plug.

Connect the spark plug wrench and the 100 mm extension bar. (A)
Insert the assembled spark plug wrench and 100 mm extension bar into the plug hole and set them on the spark plug. (B)
Connect the 75 mm extension bar to the 100 mm extension bar. (C)
Remove the 4 spark plugs.
Note
If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace the ignition coil assembly.
