THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

   Click here

2. Click here

   DISCONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE

   
   
   1. 

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

3. Click here

   REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

   
   
   1. 

      Disengage the clamp and guide.

   2. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

   3. 

      Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner hose from the throttle body assembly.

   4. Disengage the 2 clamps.

   5. 

      Disengage the 2 guides and remove the air cleaner cap with air cleaner hose from the air cleaner case sub-assembly.

4. Click here

   DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

   
   

   1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose from the throttle body assembly.

5. Click here

   DISCONNECT NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

   
   
   1. 

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose from the throttle body assembly.

6. Click here

   REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      Disconnect the throttle body assembly connector.

   2. 

      Remove the 4 bolts and throttle body assembly from the supercharger assembly.

      Note:

      If the throttle body assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

   3. 

      Remove the throttle body gasket from the supercharger assembly.
