SFI SYSTEM Gateway ECU Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

When the engine switch is turned to on (IG), battery voltage is applied to the IGSW terminal of the ECM. The output signal from the MREL terminal of the ECM causes current to flow to the coil of the No. 1 integration relay (EFI MAIN relay), closing the contacts of the EFI MAIN relay and supplying power to terminals +B and +B2 of the ECM.

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the A118 network gateway ECU connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A118-11 (EC) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    1. Disconnect the A118 network gateway ECU connectors.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the A118 network gateway ECU connector.

    2. Remove the EFI MAIN relay from the No. 2 engine room relay block assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      A118-1 (BATT) - 3 (EFI MAIN relay holder) Always Below 1 Ω
