MASS AIR FLOW METER INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL MASS AIR FLOW METER

   Tech Tips

   Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the mass air flow meter.

   
   

   1. Install the mass air flow meter with the 2 screws.

      Note

      
      

      • If reusing the mass air flow meter, be sure to inspect the mass air flow meter O-ring.

      • If the mass air flow meter has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      • Make sure that the mass air flow meter O-ring is not damaged or does not jump out of position during installation.

   2. Connect the mass air flow meter connector.

   3. Engage the clamp.

2. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

   
   

   1. Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the mass air flow meter.
