HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR REMOVAL

    When the engine is hot, do not touch high-temperature areas such as the engine or exhaust pipe.

  • Touching high-temperature areas such as the engine and exhaust pipe could result in burns.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR


    1. A004APX

      Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp to disconnect the heated oxygen sensor wire from the wire harness clamp bracket.

    3. A0048DAE01

      Using SST, remove the heated oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly.

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace the heated oxygen sensor.
