KNOCK CONTROL SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL KNOCK CONTROL SENSOR

   Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the knock sensor.

   1. 

      Install the knock sensor to the cylinder block sub-assembly with the bolt so that the knock sensor installation position is as shown in the illustration.

      Torque:

      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace the knock sensor.

   2. Connect the knock sensor connector.
