IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 IGNITION COIL


    1. A01VK1P

      Disengage the clamp and disconnect the wire harness from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect the 4 connectors of the No. 1 ignition coil.

    3. A01VEPN

      Remove the 4 bolts and the 4 No. 1 ignition coils from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

  3. REMOVE SPARK PLUG

      *1 14 mm Spark Plug Wrench

      Using a 14 mm spark plug wrench, remove the 4 spark plugs from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.
