ECM REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER (for LHD)

  2. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER (for LHD)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK (for RHD)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL (for RHD)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL RH (for RHD)

    Click here

  6. REMOVE INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE (for RHD)

    Click here

  7. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL (for RHD)

    Click here

  8. REMOVE BATTERY (for RHD)

    Click here

  9. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY (for RHD)

    Click here

  10. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER (for RHD)

    Click here

  11. REMOVE ECM

      Pull up the lever to loosen the lock and disconnect the 2 connectors from the ECM.

      Note

      If there are is any foreign matter such as mud or water on a connector, clean the connector.

      Remove the bolt, nut and the ECM.

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 ECM BRACKET


    1. A01VHEQ

      Remove the 2 screws and the No. 1 ECM bracket from the ECM.

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 ECM BRACKET

      Remove the 2 screws and the No. 2 ECM bracket from the ECM.
