PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (w/ DPF)


    1. Check the resistance.

        Component without harness connected

        (Air Fuel Ratio Sensor)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        5 (HAF1) - 2 (+B) 20°C (68°F) 2.7 to 3.3
        5 (HAF1) - 4 (AF1+) Always 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the air fuel ratio sensor.

  2. INSPECT AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (w/o DPF)


    1. Check the resistance.

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        5 (H-) - 2 (+B) 20°C (68°F) 2 to 5 Ω
        5 (H-) - 4 (AF1+) Always 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the air fuel ratio sensor.
