ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  5. REMOVE BATTERY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE BATTERY TRAY

    Click here

  7. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER (for LHD)

    Click here

  8. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER (for RHD)

    Click here

  9. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR


    1. A01VFSD

      Disconnect the connector of the engine coolant temperature sensor.

    2. A01VFS3

      Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, remove the engine coolant temperature sensor from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

      Note

      If a component has been dropped or subjected to a strong impact, replace it.

    3. Remove the gasket from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
