CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ DPF)

  2. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY (w/ DPF)

  3. REMOVE MANIFOLD SUPPORT BRACKET (w/ DPF)

  4. REMOVE CYLINDER BLOCK SIDE COVER (w/ DPF)

  5. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (w/ DPF)

      Disconnect the connector of the crankshaft position sensor.

    2. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the crankshaft position sensor wire from the wire harness clamp bracket.

    3. Remove the 2 bolts, and remove the crankshaft position sensor from the cylinder block sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (w/o DPF)

      Disconnect the connector of the crankshaft position sensor.

    2. Remove the bolt, and remove the crankshaft position sensor from the cylinder block sub-assembly.
